Training offer

We are offering an Excel based course, which will cover some of the following topics:

• Entering information into a spreadsheet
• Navigating the spreadsheet
• The formula bar
• Adding and subtracting
• Performing a calculation
• Multiplying and dividing
• Formatting cells.

This will be undertaken via a work-related mini business planning project, the use of Excel will provide learners with financial literacy training which will support start-up, micro and small businesses.

The Business Bitesize Maths project - A tailored programme with online and classroom-based course options across West Sussex.

Focusing on lean management, financial accounts and first aid, this programme is aimed at start-up, micro and small and medium businesses to upskill the workforce and in turn, improve productivity.

Bitesize Maths 4 Business - Delivering financial literacy training to businesses across West Sussex, targeted at various roles within businesses:

• financial governance - senior management
• financial management - management
• financial application - delivery staff.

Focusing on building confidence and application of maths, they work with employers who have identified skills gaps across departments, as well as individuals who have the capability and capacity to take on additional responsibility and potential promotion opportunities.

Managing your money - A qualification that will provide learners with the knowledge and skills to successfully manage their personal finances and to anticipate future needs and wants.
