Training offer
Get confident with Maths - In this course, you will cover a variety of topics related to numbers and their applications in real life. We will begin by reviewing basic addition, subtraction, multiplication and division using both traditional and alternative methods.
We will then explore fractions, decimals and percentages and how they are used in everyday life. You will also learn about finding area and perimeter, as well as special numbers such as square roots and powers.
By the end of this course, you should have a good understanding of how to use numbers in practical ways. This course will increase your confidence and allow progression onto functional skills maths.

Chichester College Group
Delivering across their Brinsbury, Chichester and Crawley sites, Chichester College Group is offering a series of half day, face to face training courses, supported by online learning resources and an online tutor.
They will work with you to identify your needs and motivation to improve your ability to use and understand maths in your daily lives – both in and outside the workplace, with accreditation on successful completion of the programme.

Pre-Functional Skills - A course with the goal of providing accredited qualifications, Functional Skills UK aim to break down barriers to gaining maths skills, whether from anxiety when learning, being taught ‘old formulas’ at schools, bad teachers or previous failures at exams.
Delivery is flexible and tailored to your needs, with online and face to face options available across West Sussex, as well as weekend and evening sessions offered.

Heathercroft Training Services Ltd
Two-week intensive pre-apprenticeship programmes - Working to support recruitment needs for employers in health and social care across West Sussex.
They will work with care homes and domiciliary care agencies to deliver both face-to-face and online training, embedding and incorporating employability skills with basic workplace numeracy, with the potential to progress into an apprenticeship.

Rewards Training
Rewards Training supports individuals within the local and surrounding communities to develop their skills. They have been supporting residents across the south-east in gaining knowledge, develop skills and grow in confidence since 1989.
Training offer
Training is provided on a one-to-one basis with a qualified personal tutor. Interactions of between 2 to 5 hours are expected. This can take place over multiple sessions that fit around your own schedule.
The purpose of these sessions is to support individuals to grow their number confidence and address areas of number weakness.
