Information for training providers

We are looking for experienced training providers to deliver Skills Bootcamps for West Sussex.
Skills Bootcamps help people develop employable skills that are in demand at both a local and national level. They are developed by training providers in partnership with local employers.
What are Skills Bootcamps?
Skills Bootcamps are flexible training programmes, usually delivered at levels 3 to 5 or equivalent (level 2 in certain sectors).
You can offer them online, face to face or through a hybrid approach.
West Sussex Skills Bootcamps are commissioned in a range of subjects such as:
- creative digital
- construction and engineering
- horticulture and viticulture
- education and early years
- health and social care
- tourism and hospitality
- green skills
What's involved
Training provider responsibilities include:
- working with West Sussex employers to develop the training
- making sure each learner receives a minimum of 60 guided learning hours
- submitting monthly performance management information
- completing individualised learner records
- providing wrap around support to learners
- ensuring learners secure a job interview or career progression opportunity at the end of the course
Who can apply?
Skills Bootcamps can be delivered by suppliers such as:
- independent training providers
- Further Education (FE) colleges
- Higher Education (HE) providers
- businesses
Skills Bootcamps are commissioned through our Adult Learning and Skills Framework. Providers who are accepted onto the Framework may also be able to tender for other WSCC Adult Learning contracts.
