Online but with option to buy additional add-ons, including face-to-face.

Staff, parents and carers, and students.

- Support schools with the teaching of online safety.

Safeguarding children online course details
Description
This session will help inform on how to help safeguard vulnerable children and young people when using the internet and digitally enabled technology and will better equip you to be able to support individuals to be more resilient of the risks they may face online, know where to go for help and support and make you aware of useful resources.

Intended audience
WSCC staff and external professionals.

2 hours.

- Have an awareness of current online activity & digital technology.
- Recognise safe online practices and behaviours.
- Describe measures that can be put in place to safeguard yourself and others.
- Identify the help/support and resources available.
- Know how to report any concerns.

'Are you scam savvy?' sessions course details
Description
Resident focused session raising awareness of online safety and fraud.
Delivery method
Through webinar and/or face-to-face.
Intended audience
Community groups.
Length of input
1 hour 30 minutes.
Intended outcome of delivery
- To help raise awareness of different types of scams.
- Give people the knowledge on how to spot scams.
- Know what to do if you, or your family, become a victim of online fraud.
