Setting support phone line

Advice and support service for practitioners and childminders from early years or childcare settings on any inclusion topic.

You must have parental permission if you wish to discuss an individual child.

The setting support phone line will accept calls and provide advice for:

  • Universal Inclusion support
  • whole setting inclusion support
  • support for low level emerging needs
  • inclusion funding for 2 years and under

If you require support for:

  • a child with complex needs
  • requesting early years and childcare advisor (EYCA) or mentor support
  • queries for ongoing EYCA or mentor support you are receiving

The setting support phone line is for inclusion only and does not discuss safeguarding, business or Ofsted.

If you want to apply for inclusion funding for a child aged 2 or under, call the setting support phone line before you submit an Action Plan for Inclusion. This helps make sure the application is suitable and allows our team to provide the right early support.
