Early years and childcare qualifications level 2 and 3
Learners aged under 19 at the start of their course
Learners under the age of 19 at the start of their course do not have to pay course or exam fees. They may have to pay the training provider resource fees. Remember, please check that the qualification is recognised as full and relevant before enrolling.
Learners over the age of 19 at the start of their course
There are a number of funding options that might cover the costs of level 2 courses or level 3 courses. It is important to discuss what you might be eligible for with your chosen training provider.
If you do not qualify for a fee waiver, you can apply for an advanced learner loan.
Early years and childcare qualifications level 5 and 6 (foundation degrees and degrees)
There is currently no funding for foundation degrees and degrees. For more information about what this will cost and the loans and extra financial support available, visit UCAS undergraduate tuition fees and student loans.
