All waste collections in the Adur and Worthing area are made by Adur and Worthing Councils.

Recycling collection

• Wheelie bin colour: Grey with blue lid.
• Frequency: Fortnightly.

General waste collection

• Wheelie bin colour: Most households will have a bin with a dark grey or black lid embossed with one dot.
• Frequency: Fortnightly.

Additional collections

• Small electricals - You can recycle old or broken electrical items, including vapes, by placing them next to your rubbish bin or recycling bin on your normal collection day. Items must fit into a standard size carrier bag which you will need to provide.
• Batteries - Batteries can be recycled by placing them in a plastic bag next to your rubbish or recycling bin on your normal collection day.
• Textiles - Kerbside textile collections are not currently available, use local textile banks or Recycling Centres.

• Textiles - The kerbside textile collection service is available to all individual households and blocks of flats. Textiles for recycling can be placed in a carrier bag and put out with the red-topped recycling bin.
