Annual reviews for EHCPs
Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) should reflect a child or young person's needs and wishes. EHCPs are carefully checked each year in the Annual Review.
What is an Annual Review?
An Annual Review is a statutory requirement to review the Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) to ensure a child or young person is making progress and receiving provision toward meeting their outcomes.
The Annual Review takes place as a meeting. Settings must then submit paperwork within two weeks of the meeting.
See more information about the Annual Review of EHCPs.
