Home-Start Crawley, Horsham and Mid-Sussex (CHAMS) are a local charity, supporting families with young children where the parents are experiencing difficulties or struggling to cope.

What we do

• Families can need help for so many different reasons. Home-Start works with parents who are facing things like isolation, neglect, financial hardship, illness, disability, bereavement or multiple births.
• Volunteers from the charity provide friendship and support, in the families' own homes, helping the parents so they can cope on their own.
• We work to help prevent family crisis and breakdown, so that the children won't suffer.
