We provide information and support for anyone who is deaf, or has hearing loss or tinnitus, and those who support someone.

What we do

  • We provide life-changing support, campaign for equality and fund pioneering research. We couldn't do this without the generous support of people like you.
  • Find out how the ear works, about ear conditions that can affect your hearing, and how to protect your hearing from loud noise.
  • Find out about the different types of hearing loss, how to get your hearing tested, and what can help you hear better and overcome challenges communicating.
  • 12 million adults in the UK are deaf or have hearing loss. We can all play our part to be more deaf aware, both at work and in daily life.
  • If you are deaf or have hearing loss, we have some tips you can use to help people better understand your communication needs.
