UK Young Autism Project is a research based centre specialising in teaching children and young adults with autism, other pervasive developmental disorders and related developmental disorders, using the principles of Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA).
What we do
- Comprehensive teaching to enhance intellectual, academic, social and emotional behaviours of individuals, so they can access educational and social opportunities available and require less professional help as they get older.
- A teaching curriculum addressing all skill areas in deficit, including speech and language, communication, play and social skills, and self-help skills.
- Teaching is conducted primarily in the home setting, with gradual integration into mainstream school placements.
- Additional services for individuals with specific difficulties in any of the following areas: social skills; toilet training; sleeping issues; behaviour management; eating/drinking; attention; motivation; and academic skills.
