How to book the 99 Flex Book-a-Bus
Online
The easiest way to book a ride is via our app. Download the Book-a-Bus app on the App Store or on the Google Play Store.
You can also phone 01243 858854 to book. Operating hours are between 6.30am to 7.30pm. Outside of these hours, our AI-powered booking service can assist you with booking and managing your journeys.
You can book up to 48 hours in advance and up to 5 seats per trip, subject to availability.
Book-a-Bus cannot be booked to travel along an existing bus route, including during hours before or after the traditional bus service starts or finishes. The app or our call centre will advise you on alternative bus services or help you plan your journey better by using Book-a-Bus to connect with already existing bus routes.
Fares and tickets
Until March 2027, Book-a-Bus fares are fixed at £3 per trip, thanks to the national bus fare cap.
The cost will be clearly displayed on the app or stated when booking over the phone.
